BUILD BETTER
DAOS

What can you build?

Welcome to the frontier. There's a lot to build.

The whole DAO ecosystem is flying by the seat of their pants figuring out how to coordinate, grow, market, build, raise, and everything in between in real time.

This is the perfect time to jump in. We've shared some ideas below on where to get started but anything is fair game!

Creation & Administration

Build to help anyone start a DAO. DAOs are the future of coordination, whether that's running the world's largest DeFi protocol or spinning up dinner plans with friends. The ecosystem needs better ways of creating and managing a wide range of groups.

Membership and NFTs

How do you prove you're part of a club? Work on helping establish ownership, access, and incentives for being a part of these decentralized communities. Whether NFTs, tokens, or something else, hack on membership, attendance, proof of work, or any other group behavior.

Finance and Payments

Accounting is hard but someone has to do it. Improve the ways that DAOs manage their funds, payments, accounting, payroll, and more. Whether that be throwing the treasury into the latest Degen trading algo, or building better tools to allocate resources to problems your DAO cares about.

Observability and Analytics

How can you tell how things are going? Build to catch a glimpse of the heartbeat of community. Create dashboard to track team spending, bubble up analytics on DAO member participation, provide novel ways to distribute information to DAO members.

Governance and Participation

The "D" in DAO — Play around with member participation, voting, delegation, proposals and everything in between. Governance is the mechanism powering forward movement and there's always ways to improve communication, participation, and outcomes.

Discovery and Curation

How do you find the right DAO for you? How do you find what work needs to be supported in your local DAO? Discovery is hard and curation is harder, but both problms worth solving. Find novel ways to distribute information, build a tool to curate opportunities, the possibilities are endless.

Compliance and Legal

The future of coordination still need a foot firmly planted in the world of now. Help establish best practices for compliance and ensure the longterm success of your DAO.
